Corporate Social Responsibility
At Lumesse, practical Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) is a natural part of our values. We encourage our people to
work for charity, to protect the environment, and to support their
local communities.
Supporting communities
We support many different charities, at an organisational,
country and individual level, including Oxfam, Unicef, Comic
Relief and Children in Need. Recent activities include:
- Partnering with Oxfam to facilitate workplace donation
collections
- Christmas eCards with a charity donation for every click
through
- Sponsored leg waxing!
- Hosting a World Food Day
Environmental thinking
We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment and
increasing sustainability, with activities like paperless offices
(although we haven't quite cracked that one yet!) and Cycle to Work
initiatives. We also ensure that our buildings around the world
operate as energy-efficiently as possible and we use web
conferencing rather than travel where we can, to reduce our carbon
impact.
