- Meets challenging global standards for best practice in
business continuity
London - 5 April 2012 - Lumesse, Europe's leading
independent provider of talent management solutions, is pleased to
announce that it has been successfully certified against the
important BS25999 standard for business continuity management.
BS25999, which is expected to be accepted as a new global ISO
standard (ISO22301) in 2012, has been developed by a broad-based
group of global experts representing a cross-section of industry
sectors and government to establish the process, principles and
terminology of business continuity management. The certification
adds to the ISO27001 Information Security standard certification
won by Lumesse in 2011, and underlines the company's public
commitment to the highest levels of security and reliability in its
business and technical operations.
"Our global customers trust us to deliver vital business
solutions and services in talent management, and we've invested
heavily in our global datacentres, SaaS infrastructure, people and
processes to ensure we can give them peace of mind in areas such as
information security, service reliability and business continuity,
" said Lumesse CEO, Matthew Parker. "We've chosen to be audited and
certified to challenging global standards such as ISO27001 and
BS25999 as a public demonstration of our commitment to being the
only global company making talent management work locally."
A business continuity management (BCM) system is designed to
protect and recover business operations during the most challenging
and unexpected circumstances - protecting people, facilities and
processes and ensuring the ability to continue to operate, or to
quickly recover operations, in the event of serious external
issues. The business continuity management system operated by
Lumesse to BS25999 covers all critical business operations needed
for Lumesse TalentLink and Lumesse ETWeb service provisioning,
including datacentre facilities, disaster recovery, staff and
visitor security, communications, support, and business processes.
